Q. WHEN AND WHY DID YOU START WORKING OUT?
2012- A shift in careers led me to the health industry and from there I’d discovered the impact my food choices it has on our bodies. Being around like-minded people, it wasn’t long before I started exercising and learning more about weight training. Every day I looked forward to going to the gym after work. I began getting stronger! Noticing results is what drove me to continue pushing beyond my goals!
Q. HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE FITNESS INDUSTRY?
Being a model of fitness and always looking the part. Networking with the Houston fitness community, meeting photographers who wanted to set up shoots. Doors open when you’re a walking billboard for fitness!

Reverse hack squats, reverse delt flies

The video humor, the team of athletes on board that are serious about their training, the effort DPL puts into their company- the marketing and ads are great. Having real value in me means a lot to me… I’d asked to try their supplements because I believe in truly standing behind anything I share on my social media, and after using the products, I knew I was meant to be part of the team!

Currently to begin my online training. And also to begin training clients at my local gym.

Reading, hanging out with my son!
Q. WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO PEOPLE WHO WANT TO START A FITNESS/BODYBUILDING JOURNEY?
I would say to just start. Make the move; experience the discomfort and own it. Because nothing great is ever achieved in comfort zones. Depending on their level of change, I would give basic advice for eating better. From drinking more water, eliminating sugars and starches, etc.
