I've always been competitive to the point of being willing to hurt myself to try to beat you in a race to the corner.
Competing, for me, is the greatest pleasure. I have many passions such as basketball, car racing, swimming and bodybuilding.
Bodybuilding was what enchanted me the most because of the dedication that is necessary and because it was the only sport that I have always been BAD.
My Show was in 2013. It was a Sao Paulo State Novice Show. I really wanted to compete, but I had no idea what I was going to face. I had never seen a bodybuilder in my life.
When I saw all those huge guys, I freaked out. I ended up signing up for a category in which the athletes seemed smaller - which was Men’s Physique. I was disqualified for being out of the standard for that Division.
In 2015 I prepared for the 2015 Brazilian Southern States, doing a test show a week earlier. It was the Work Iron Cup, in which I ´ve got a second place.
The following week I won the Brazilian Southern States. A few hours later, I was in a bus for a 12 hour interstate trip to compete in the Ponchet Classic. I won that show too.
Two weeks later I went to compete Mr Santos, the oldest and most traditional Bodybuilding Show in Brazil. In this Show, I was very focused on winning an athlete who represented the next level for me.
My coach chose to drop my weight sharply to fit his weight category and we ended up fourth in the Senior category among 70 athletes.
Shortly thereafter, I met Juan Morel - IFBB Pro - an athlete who had competed in Olympia for many years. He started taking care of my journey and the progress then was exponential.
After unforeseen events, in 2018 I finally managed to prepare well and competed in the first International Muscle Contest held in Brazil. I won the Heavyweight category and made the Top 3 in the overall. It was there that I started to attract the attention of several sports enthusiasts.
My goal was to be the youngest Brazilian athlete to become professional in Bodybuilding. To achieve this feat, I had to turn to pro before my 23rd birthday.
To be able to fulfill this goal, I would have to go to Iceland still in 2018 to compete, as this would be my last chance to achieve this feat.
At the time I had gathered all my money to go and ended up running out of money to eat in the country, yet I managed to win my pro card and went back to Brazil.
When I got home, the police was in my house and a turnaround in my life was beginning. Due to legal problems, my father lost everything we had. In fact, all my assets were also gone.
I had nowhere to live and my girlfriend took me into her house. At that time I had no sponsorship, my accounts were blocked and I was unable to work.
At that time I had just hired Stefan Kielnz as my new coach, but I told him that I could no longer continue to compete, as my biggest concern was to survive.
All of this ended up delaying my plans to make my Pro Debut. Arnold Brazil 2020 should have been my first Pro Show.
However, in 2020 we had the pandemic and the championship was canceled. I went to New York to compete for the New York Pro. I arrived 3 weeks before the show, but a few days before the date, the competition was canceled.
I kept trying to compete, with unsuccessful attempts until the end of the year, that's when Stefan said that we could no longer continue the preparation. We were pushing my body to the limit for such a long time, that it would no longer be productive or healthy
At that time, Dragon Pharma and I started the Becoming Number One Project.
After all the turmoil of 2020 and all the ups and downs, I decided that this whole story should be documented and told in a way that exalts my victory in the end.
Dragon Pharma embraced this idea, as it saw the same ideal of the company, of becoming number 1 together.

By the influence of my girlfriend at the time and friends from school, when I decided to train I also decided that I would compete!

- WHAT GOAL ARE YOU WORKING TOWARDS?
Right now I am training to gain volume, doing cardio to keep my cardiovascular system healthy and meditation to have a healthy mind.
- WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL?
I don't usually eat cheat meals, but when I do I like something that doesn't look like a diet like hamburger or sweets.
- WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES OUTSIDE OF THE FITNESS/BODYBUILDING INDUSTRY?

- WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO PEOPLE WHO WANT TO START A FITNESS/BODYBUILDING JOURNEY?
My advice summed up in a single word is PATIENCE.
This means that you must know that it will take time, and knowing that should help you understand that you don't have to be perfect. You can allow yourself to make mistakes, but always looking to make progress. Because if it takes longer to do it right, not doing it becomes impossible
My training is divided into 3 parts.
Weight training that serves to shape and build my muscles for my competitions.
My methodology, division and training frequency can vary according to the phase, considering factors such as recovery, injuries, unforeseen circumstances, availability of machines, travel etc.

The second part of my training is aerobic training, which serves for cardiovascular health, to help with my energy expenditure in preparation phases, and to walk with my girlfriend. 😊 😊
The third part of my training is meditation, this part is very important because the mind is more important than any muscle in a bodybuilder's career. This can be an athlete's best friend or enemy.
I practice yoga or do meditation sessions for about 10 to 30 minutes a day.
