Q. WHEN AND WHY DID YOU START WORKING OUT?
A: There wasn't on defining moment that can look back on to tell you why I started working out. It was an accumulation of years of being unhappy, unhealthy and knowing something needed to change. I finally got tired of my own bullshit and made that change.
Q. HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE FITNESS INDUSTRY?
A: I orignally got into the fitness industry marketing for a local supplement store here in San Antonio. This lead to greater roles in fitness modeling and marketing for other companies. Which has now lead me to a new journey with Dragon Pharma.
Q. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE EXERCISES?
A: Hammer Strength Pendulum Leg Press, Hack Squats and Romanian Deadlift
Q. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BODY PART?
A: My lower body, because it's progression in strength has been significant and pretty impressive
Q. WHO IS YOUR INSPIRATION IN THIS SPORT?
A: I have to go back to my first inspiration in this sport, Jamie Eason. She was the "Female Face" of fitness when I became interested in working out. I didn't know what I was doing when I first stepped into the gym. I had no background in sports and didn't know the first thing about nutrition. I relied on reading articles and doing my own reserarch. Jamie Eason put out a lot of great information that I learned a lot from early on. That information gave me a base to work off of when I knew nothing.
Q. WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF DRAGON PHARMA TEAM?
A: Aside from having great products, I liked the fact that Dragon Pharma truly supports and stands by their athletes.
Q. WHAT GOAL ARE YOU WORKING TOWARDS?
A: I'm working towards competing in wellness this coming year. It's the look that I've always loved and actually strived for even before Wellness was announced to be coming to the US. I'm truly excited for this and I'm pouring everything I have into it.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL?
A: Pizza, specially deep dish pizza. The more toppings the better and yes, pineapple does go on pizza. Don't argue with me on this one. Also, old fashioned donuts, white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies, and a side of vanilla bean ice cream.
Q. WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES OUTSIDE OF THE FITNESS/BODYBUILDING INDUSTRY?
A: I love comics, going to ComicCons, Cosplay and some FX makeup. Sketching, painting and basically anything art related. I also refurbish old furniture and do some wood work.
