Q. WHO IS MAUREEN BLANQUISCO?

A: A bikini pro athlete originally from the tropical island Philippines, currently living in Norway. A new bikini pro, dedicated and passionate about the sports. I am now currently working on my Olympia qualification points for 2019, i am also a fitness ambassador hoping to inspire other people.

Q. WHY DID YOU START WORKING OUT?

A: I have always been active since then. I was a former competitive swimmer in the philippines, also former Cheerleader (flyer) then i decided that i wanted to do something more, something that i can connect with myself then i found Fitness. So i guess this is why i started working out and competing will always have a place inside my heart.

Q. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE EXERCISES?

A: My favorite excercises are HIP THRUST for the booty, Cable side laterals for the shoulders and the donkey calf raises.

A: BOOTY!! who doesnt

A: CREAMY PASTA all the way!

A: I listen to most likely Hiphop and chillstep.

Q. What advice would you give to people who want to start a fitness/bodybuilding journey?

A: My first advice will be find a coach that fits your needs, a coach that fits your taste. i have seen a lot of athletes that doesnt trust the process that leads them doing the journey only half way (50%) every diet works but you just gotta find a coach that you trust 100% so then its easier to give your 100%. and 2nd be consistent with everything, transformation does not happen overnight, it takes years and years to master anything. 3rd will be stay persistent, so that your hardwork doesnt go to waste. remember fitness journey is not a race its a marathon
